ABOUT THE LAB
Founded and directed by Dr. Jay Golden, the Dynamic Sustainability Lab examines the opportunities as well as risks and unintended consequences resulting from the adoption of new technologies, new strategies and policies as well as growing dependence on foreign-sourced resources and supply chains used in the transition to a Net-Zero Carbon Economy.
Our focus is in providing interdisciplinary scientific approaches that support organizations in realizing sustainability transition opportunities by identifying the dynamic risks and developing strategies and tools to achieve success.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Dynamic Sustainability Lab under a $60M grant awarded to the State of New York by the USDA is leading the national efforts to increase the market pull of Climate SMART Commodities through development of financial, operational, policy and market mechanisms. This includes sectors that span the U.S. economy such as energy, fuels, chemicals, plastics and consumer products including increasing exportation of American green goods and technologies.
